thanks

So very many people to thank who have been part of my musical journey over the years, and I hope those I forget initally will forgive me (this will be a work-in-progress like so much else, so bear with me).

I guess I should start with the musicians I worked with on this project at various points in time, my brothers in music who made so much possible: Kevin Parton, Dave Davis, Linus Byars and Rodney Henry. A special shout-out to Charlie Kramer and Stephen Petersen for their contributions to songs to be featured on here plus their support and inspiration over the years. Much love also to Brandon Saurel and Carl Moore, who along with Kevin Parton were my brothers in Bittersweet Irony in the mid-90s.

A shout out to the many Bay Area musicians that made me feel so welcome there in 2010-2011, the folks who put on open mics almost every night and made the music community feel like family at places like The Starry Plough, High Street Station, The Hotel Utah, and so many others. Also a nod to the West Coast Songwriters whose songwriting contest nights I frequented and even won once! Many fond memories of my time there thanks to you all!
Also a shout out to the many musicians in the Nashville and Murfreesboro areas, with special warm feelings for the lamented Blue Bear Barn streaming shows and the many musicians I met there (Year of October, London Hammer, The Dangerous Method, Panda Forces…) as well as the folks that kept it going for so long, including the host Mike E and his seemingly infinite collection of Vox amps! Those people and shows are much missed!

Much thanks to friends that have supported my musical endeavors over the years, and even those exes who tolerated it and my infinite capacity for self-sabotage. Thanks goes out to the folks in McMinnville who helped put on various shows over the years there and keep the music alive, and the folks from that scene many moons ago who I still find supporting my quest. You know who you are!
Thanks again to Kevin Parton and Makeshift Studios where I spent far too long doing not nearly enough after the rest of you finished your tracks! Thanks also to John McGee and Cedarpepper Studios for additional recording and mixing of Venus Flytrap and Zombified (does the ending still make ya laugh)?

A special shoutout to the talented actress and musician Molly Gazay who has been a positive supporter since the Bay Area days and who, along with her husband Sean O'Connor, made it possible for me to actually have my own imdb page!

Much thanks to all the folks I haven't mentioned who played a role over the years in this roller-coaster journey and to the folks that continue to support it despite all the odds! I'm truly fortunate.

Finally, thanks to the Muse, giver of the gift of music, for smiling on me in spite of my many infidelities, and for the opportunity to pass on the music you keep putting in my head. May it bless those hear it and reach those that need it.
