Built For Two is one of what I call my California songs. Spent five months there in a whirlwind relationship and left rather disenchanted and depressed (on April Fools Day, no less!). It's about my feelings of being alienated and ignored, while looking at my own culpabillity (maybe I'm the architect of your lack of respect for me). Self-pity works better with music behind it. - Tully
