get to you (alternative)
I wrote this one after seeing video of the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. A sort of lament about the temporary nature of everything. Interestingly, I performed an early version of this at a songwriting contest in Oakland, California, where the judges told me it really needed a bridge. They were right and it now includes one, but the irony wasn't lost of a song about a hurricane having a bridge out. - Tully
